Internship Overview
As a WordPress Web Developer Intern, you will gain practical exposure to website development, WordPress customization, page building, website maintenance, and responsive web design.
This is a fully remote, unpaid internship designed for freshers and aspiring web developers who want to develop their technical skills and gain practical experience working on website development projects. Candidates who successfully complete the internship will receive a certificate of completion.
Key Responsibilities
- WordPress Website Development: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining websites using WordPress.
- Page Design and Customization: Build and customize web pages using Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
- Theme Customization: Assist with customizing WordPress themes to meet website design and functional requirements.
- Responsive Web Design: Help ensure websites display correctly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Plugin Management: Assist in installing, configuring, and managing WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
- Website Content Updates: Upload and format text, images, blog posts, and other website content.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Use basic front-end coding skills to customize layouts and improve website appearance.
- Website Maintenance: Help identify and resolve layout issues, broken links, plugin conflicts, and other common website problems.
- Basic SEO Optimization: Assist with page titles, meta descriptions, image optimization, and other on-page SEO tasks.
- Performance and Quality Testing: Help check website usability, loading performance, functionality, and consistency across browsers.
- Team Collaboration: Work with team members to understand project requirements and deliver website updates and improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
